At Moreish Studios, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our producer, Shane Jarvie-Kohn, and the highly respected songwriters, session musicians and recording artists we call The Band: Cahill Kelly, Andrew Braidner and Lain Pocock. The right musicians can be selected according to each song’s needs. You’ll also have access to our wider network of specialist musicians and session artists from across Melbourne.
We can provide everything needed to transform your idea into a complete music production. Whether you need a few instrumental parts—such as live drums or guitars—or want to arrange an entire band or string section, we can build the right team around your music.

A full production with three session musicians, one studio day and a professional sound engineer costs $1,950 (AUD). When downsizing to one musician, all the required parts, production may begin from $1,050 (AUD).
Optional songwriting and arrangement sessions are $75 (AUD) per hour. For music produced with us, bundled mixing and mastering generally adds $250–$450 (AUD) per song after production discounts, bringing a professionally finished release to roughly $1,300–$2,400 (AUD).
Musician fees are charged per musician, per song, or per day, dependent on the entire projects length. We recommend beginning by completing one song before planning a larger EP or albums project.
Our Melbourne music production team can guide your project from its first idea through recording and production. Discounted music mixing services and mastering services are also available separately to prepare your track for radio, vinyl, CD and streaming.
Every project is quoted case by case according to what the song needs. You’ll have optional access to songwriting and arrangement support, session musicians, studio hire, a sound engineer, production, mixing and mastering—all coordinated in one place with minimal fuss.

There are no wrong answers.
You don’t need a completed demo, but we do need at least lyrics or a basic song idea to begin. Include anything you already have when reaching out—a Google Drive or downloadable link to your demos and resources is extremely helpful.
4) Tell us your end goal and approximate budget range.

Budgets can be difficult to discuss, but being open about what you’re comfortable spending helps us recommend a realistic approach and prevents disappointment later.
5) Send us two or three reference tracks.
Choose songs that capture the style, energy or production quality you’re aiming for. We won’t recreate another artist’s sound; the references simply help us understand your taste, the likely scope of the production and where you would like your music to sit.
