Free Professional Mix Review

It’s very simple really. We know that it’s easy to get stuck on that mix and end up piling up with unfinished work, unsure when it’s ready to send off to be finally finished. To help with that daunting task we want to give your mix the final review with a checklist so you feel confident it’s ready to be finished up. All you have to do is send it to us in any format and we will get back to you with a list of steps that we think will get it to that finished stage. From there you can take the advice, research and learn a few relevant tricks (if you are interested) and implement what you agree with into the mix. We know how important a second pair of ears are so let us be yours and get those projects finished up and sounding awesome.

Important Note: For best results, I would recommend removing limiters as this will distort the true mix and it’s dynamics that we would be trying to look at. Treat this as if it was a pre-master and not just feedback or evaluation on your final mastered track. It’s not necessary but it might make it harder for you to genuinely locate what to look into if the issue is actually being accentuated decisions made on the master bus.

How does it work?

It’s easy, just bounce out your track in an MP3 for convenience or anything else you so choose and send it to us through our contact with a download link and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Just check the “MIX REVIEW” check box when sending us the email so we know what you are wanting and a few words about your mixing and where you think you’re at with it.

Important Note: Please be aware this is purely advice based on listening to a stereo bounced-out track and we do not accept looking into people’s actual mix sessions or providing mixing lessons. It is of a first come first serve bases so it may take a little time to get to yours to get the attention it deserves. Only 1 track is generally accepted at a time as the knowledge can then be interpreted into the other tracks. After the advice is given it is up to the mixing engineer to seek out the appropriate method to interpret the advice based on their own education or research. Some particularly detailed suggestions may be made or elaborated on but for logistical reasons, we can not provide direct lessons or existing references for each approach we suggest. We hope you use this service as a way to direct yourself in your own mixing journey and not assume it as a pseudo-mixing service. Thank you for understanding and happy mixing!

** Please note: Any clients committed to a project being mastered by us are entitled to Mix Reviews on all their committed tracks prior to mastering. **
