Shane Jarvie-Kohn is a Melbourne-based audio engineer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, award-winning sound designer and founder of Moreish Studios. He specialises in mastering, mixing, music production, recording, sound design, and audio post-production.
His repertoire includes a broad range of iconic artists such as K-Pop Idol Tiffany Young (Girls’ Generation), all the way to local Australian legend Skyscraper Stan & The Commission Flats.
Shane has gained his first-hand experience accumulated from over 15 years of work in the industry, as well as his expansive involvement within the international and national recording and live music industry. All these factors have accumulated to refine his skills and go on to help craft recognised works in all genres. Shane frequently changes up his work from major labels to independent artists in order to keep himself grounded with his roots. Nobody is deemed too big or small.
Shane is proud to be one of the few “one-stop-shops”, offering all of his collected knowledge and resources to make the process of creating excellent music as simple and enjoyable as possible for the artists.
Currently Shane is holding 2 ASSG awards for ‘Best Sound for an Animated Short Film’. Highlighting his achievements and passion for sound early in his career.
